Trauma

The Trauma Interest Group seeks to advance trauma management skills, support trauma research, and integrate education into academic promotion. It provides a platform for networking among academic emergency physicians involved in trauma quality management and encourages participation from all SAEM members.

Group Objectives

• Establish relationships among members that promote ongoing sharing of clinical expertise and collaboration on trauma research.
• Promote ongoing multicenter trauma research spearheaded by interest group members.
• Discuss recent trauma research topics through invited speakers at meetings.
• Encouraging publication/journal writing to help expand and develop the trauma literature.
