Award Nomination and Selection Process

Home / Research / SAEM Awards / Award Nomination and Selection Process

Each year, SAEM recognizes members who are transforming emergency medicine through exceptional contributions in such areas as research, teaching, public health, and advancing diversity and inclusion. Nominations for SAEM Faculty and Fellows Awards, and Residents, and Medical Students Awards open every year on October 1 and close December 9. Learn more about the individual awards and their eligibility through the award page links below.

The Awards Committee is committed to an inclusive process of granting awards, reflecting the full spectrum of diversity of our membership. We encourage you to nominate a diverse pool of candidates for all SAEM awards. Self-nominations are also accepted.
