Innovations

Overview

Innovations is a venue for members to present novel ideas and approaches in undergraduate and graduate medical education, as well as advances in other non-clinical areas such as faculty development and operations. (This is not a venue for clinical advances).

This year, in addition to accepting submissions from a broad array of fields, we would like to encourage authors to submit innovations in the following specific themes:

• Artificial intelligence and its use in (or impact on) medical education
• Sex, gender and reproductive health in medical education
• Overcoming the negative impacts of emergency department overcrowding on medical education
• Teaching Approach to Goals of Care/Palliative Care in the emergency department
• Sustainability initiatives and reducing waste in health care
• Considering adjunct/complementary career opportunities
