Ryan Tsuchida

Dr. Ryan Tsuchida is the assistant dean for multicultural affairs for health professions learners, a board-certified emergency medicine physician, and an assistant professor at the BerbeeWalsh Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Wisconsin, School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Tsuchida has a wealth of experience, scholarship, and expertise in equitable and inclusive organization leadership ranging from pathway program development, medical student and health professions student support, and quality improvement initiatives in both the clinical and education arenas. In recognizing his impact, he has received many awards including recently being named one of “Wisconsin’s Most Influential Asian American Leaders” by Madison365. His peers elected him to serve as the president-elect for SAEM’s ADIEM executive committee.
