Brian Elmore, MD

Brian Elmore, MD, is an emergency medicine resident physician at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center of El Paso. He is the co-founder of Clinica Hope, a free clinic for migrants in Ciudad Juárez in collaboration with Hope Border Institute. Prior to starting his career in medicine, he served in the Peace Corps in Sierra Leone and Zambia. His writing and advocacy on his migrant patients has been featured in the Atlantic, Texas Observer, CNN, as well as other national and international outlets. He was a recipient of the 2024 Border Hero award from Las Americas Immigrant Advocacy Center.
