SAEM Leadership Forum

The purpose of the SAEM Leadership Forum is to advance the skills of leaders in emergency medicine and to provide a forum for discussing current challenges in the field. The forum is designed for all levels of aspiring leaders. It provides exposure to core leadership topics with an emphasis on experiential learning and practical application.

Presenters are recognized experts with extensive leadership experience. The agenda includes segments on wellness, strategies for successful leadership, increasing visibility, and managing conflict.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this session, participants should be able to:

• Articulate a personal vision and leadership style
• Integrate expert and peer experience to analyze common leadership challenges
• Identify different scenarios where coaching skills can help advance colleagues and learners
