"Tele-Bupe Program”
The overall long-term goal of this study, the Tele-Bupe program, is to reduce the number of OUD and SUD-related deaths, by demonstrating the effectiveness of a clinical treatment model for OUD treatment pathway that appropriately channels patients seeking treatment through either an ED-based buprenorphine induction process or an at-time induction process. Treatment access to both pathways will be increased through the use of telehealth technology, extending the availability of X waiver providers as required by each treatment modality.
