Registration
Cancellation policy:
- On or before March 12, 2025 - $50 cancellation fee
- On or after March 15, 2025 - $100 cancellation fee
- After May 1, 2025 - No refunds
Yes, presenters must pay to attend the SAEM Annual Meeting.
SAEM may provide a complimentary one-day SAEM25 registration as a special exception to a potential speaker for an educational session or meeting who does not qualify for an SAEM membership category. The SAEM Executive Committee considers these requests when a potential speaker may add significant value to the unique learning experience of our membership when added to an educational session or meeting.

No, anyone is welcome to attend the AWAEM and ADIEM Luncheon. Registration for this event opens December 1, 2024.
Yes, you can register for the luncheon on site, however, due to the popularity of this event, we recommend purchasing tickets in advance. Learn more about this event here: AWAEM and ADIEM Luncheon.

Please note that for SAEM25, all presenters are required to submit disclosures. Those with something to disclose cannot be added to a session after April 1, 2025.
In addition, we recommend all changes be requested before April 1, 2025, to ensure they are reflected in our annual meeting materials.

As an SAEM member you have the option of joining any SAEM academy or interest group — as many as you would like — for free! Joining an academy or interest group is easy:
- Log into SAEM.org
- Click "My Participation" in the upper navigation bar
- Click "Update (+/-) Academies or Interest Groups"
You can donate to the SAEM Foundation by visiting www.saem.org/donate. You may also mail your donation check to SAEMF headquarters: 1111 East Touhy Ave, Suite 540, Des Plaines, IL 60018.
Each year, the annual meeting mobile app becomes available in the spring before the conference and remains accessible for one year.
SAEM, our official annual meeting host hotel, and all other annual meeting venues comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. If you require special assistance or accommodation onsite, please contact SAEM staff at meetings@saem.org or (847) 257-SAEM (7236). To allow us to best assist you, please make your request by March 12.
- Members have a professional and ethical obligation to act in a manner that upholds the purposes, values, and objectives of SAEM.
- Members shall conduct themselves in a professional manner while attending or participating in SAEM-sponsored events and all communications with SAEM staff.
- While alcohol is served at many SAEM events, members shall not use any substance to an excess that negatively impacts the member's ability to act in a professional manner.
- Members shall be honest and fair and act respectfully and with integrity.
- Members shall not discriminate against members or SAEM staff regarding religion, race, ethnicity, color, national origin, gender, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, or disability.
Conduct unbecoming of an SAEM Member should be reported to the CEO. The SAEM Executive Committee may refer the case to the SAEM Ethics Committee, which will investigate any reported breaches of professional conduct. We reserve the right to enforce the SAEM Code of Professional Conduct up to and including removal of SAEM Membership.
