Chief Resident Forum
The Chief Resident Forum has been a long-standing tradition at the SAEM Annual Meeting, designed to train the next generation of leaders in emergency medicine (EM) through providing soon-to-be chief residents a balance of leadership training while preparing them for the practicalities of being a middle manager of residents.
SAEM's Chief Resident Forum is the preeminent training ground for aspiring chief residents to grow and refine skills necessary to successfully lead their residency programs and set the foundation for a career in academic emergency medicine. The forum brings future chief residents from across the nation to network and share best practices in leading residency programs.
EM educational leaders will share their experience in engaging, practical sessions that prepare future chief residents for the challenges inherent to the role while mindfully developing their leadership skills.
