Advanced EM Workshop

The Program Committee is accepting workshop proposals for presentation at the SAEM23 Annual Meeting. Authors are invited to submit novel and in-depth topics, or cutting edge research related to academic emergency medicine in the following categories:
- Clinical Innovations
- Communication
- Gender and Bias
- Research
- Teaching
- Other
Submissions can be made as half day or full day sessions. Workshop acceptance letters will be sent to submitters by October 14, 2022.
Mission:
There are two formats for the Advanced EM Workshops: full-day and half-day sessions. SAEM academies, committees, task forces, interest groups, or individuals planning to submit a series of four or more related didactic sessions should strongly consider submitting the sessions as an Advanced EM Workshop Day submission instead. Workshops that are cosponsored by SAEM academies, committees, task forces, or interest groups are encouraged.
Guidelines:
Workshop proposal submissions should include a one-page description of the session with an agenda, objectives, and a short biography for each proposed presenter. This information is of vital importance and forms the basis for the competitive decision-making process. Reviewers of Advanced EM Workshop Day proposals will evaluate the content, course outline, and speakers. Proposals should be edited by the lead organizer and be free of spelling, grammatical, and typographical errors.
All listed presenters are required to submit a completed disclosure form.
