San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala

The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and the Department of Emergency Medicine have a long-standing relationship with the community of San Lucas Tolimán in rural Guatemala and have been providing clinical care to its population for over a decade. If interested, fellows can participate as clinical faculty for our medical student Service Learning course, or pursue other research or community education projects based on local needs in conjunction with our partners at the San Lucas Mission.
