Grants & Awards

The SAEM Foundation, in partnership with SAEM, provides grants to national and international universities and medical schools to help fund innovative research and education initiatives in the field of emergency medicine.

The SAEMF/GEMA Research Pilot Grant is intended to provide financial support for a junior researcher in the field of international emergency medicine to enter a mentored project in collaboration with an international partner or partners. This grant is meant to support the travel costs of the awardee as well as minor direct research costs to allow for field participation in a project. 

GEMA Awards are given each year in cognition of the year's best achievements in global emergency medicine.
