Emergency Medicine in Brazil

Stony Brook IEM has been workign with our peers in Brazil and have been excited to see Latin America's largest country continue to develop. We have been working closely with the highly motivated and passionate Emergency Medicine leaders, and have been involved with supporting and speaking in the biannual ABRAMEDE conference. Emergency medicine practitioners from across Brazil have joined us for clinical rotations at Stony Brook, and our residents and fellows are also given the opportunity to visit Brazil to learn more about Emergency Medicine in the most populous cities on the continent.
