"Food Pharmacy Rx”

Food Pharmacy Rx aims to identify and provide tangible solutions to food insecurity in the community surrounding Harbor-UCLA Medical Center while also reducing food waste. We hypothesize that participation in a hospital-based food access program will decrease food insecurity, increase consumption of fruits and vegetables, and improve self-reported health.
