Fall Assessment and Prevention
Below is peer-reviewed literature compiled by the AGEM/EBHI group on fall risk assessment and falls prevention programs targeting ED patients. The literature is categorized based on whether it mainly addresses fall risk stratification tools, process/implementation, and outcomes of RCTs. Some studies have information on more than one category so look through the articles to help guide your program development. The group is also collating information on successfully implemented programs and barriers seen across programs.
