Grant Writing Mentorship Program
AEUS is offering an exciting opportunity for residents, fellows, and faculty who may be interested in pursuing a career in POCUS research. We are looking to recruit 9 mentees to be matched with some of the top researchers in the field to engage in a 6-month mentored grant writing group.
What will I learn?
You will learn how to write a competitive research grant.

What will be asked of the mentee?
- Interested in POCUS research
- Newer to grant writing
- Will need to attend a kickoff meeting to meet other mentees and learn about the elements of grant writing specific to the AEUS SAEMF grant
- Communicate on average every 2 weeks over 6 months (mid-January 2024 to mid-July 2024) with mentor(s). Schedule is flexible and to be decided between mentor(s) and mentee.
- Meet with fellow mentees every other month to give and receive feedback on grant.
