Join the Association of Academic Chairs of Emergency Medicine (AACEM) and the Academy of Administrators in Academic Emergency Medicine (AAAEM) for the 17th Annual AACEM/AAAEM Retreat. We can't wait to see you there! In addition to impactful and cutting-edge programming, attendees will enjoy plenty of time to catch up with colleagues and relax in wine country.

Registration
Chairs and Administrators can register online or complete the 2025 AACEM/AAAEM Annual Retreat form and submit it to AACEM@saem.org.

*CDP and CAEMA tuition includes CDP session two and CAEMA session one ONLY. Participants planning to attend the AACEM/AAAEM Annual Retreat in its entirety are required to register.
For adult guests (18 and over), the price to attend the Opening Reception (Sunday, March 16, 2025; 6:30pm) and the Awards Luncheon (Tuesday, March 18, 2025; 1:00pm) is $50 per event. Please see the registration link to add guests at these events. Children under 18 can attend these events at no cost but should still be noted via the registration.
Cancellation Policy
A $50 fee will be charged for cancellations made prior to January 24, 2025. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made on or after January 24, 2025.
Hotel Information
The Lodge at Sonoma Resort, 1325 Broadway at Leveroni & Napa Roads,Sonoma, CA, is the official host hotel for the 2025 AACEM/AAAEM Annual Retreat. Located in the heart of California's scenic wine country, this lluxury hotel is a revitalizing oasis of serenity within walking distance to quaint shops and world-class restaurants at Sonoma Plaza.
Hotel Perks:
- Wine tasting is hosted daily by The Lodge or a local winemaker from 4pm to 5pm.
- The resort offers complimentary shuttle service to Sonoma Plaza 2:00 - 9:00 PM, the local town square located about one mile away.
Hotel Reservations
Book at the group rate for AACEM/AAAEM Joint Retreat
The Lodge at Sonoma Resort, Autograph Collection for is offering a group rate $369 USD per night. The last day to book is Friday, February 14, 2025.
Administrators, please plan to arrive at the resort before 1:00 pm PT on Sunday, March 16th, for the AAAEM General Session. Chairs, please plan to arrive at the resort before 6:30 pm PT on Sunday, March 16th, for the AACEM/AAAEM Retreat Welcome Reception. Programming ends on Wednesday, March 19th, by 11:00 am PT.

- Inn at Sonoma - 0.9 miles from The Lodge (20 minute walk, 3 minute car ride).
- El Dorado Hotel - 1.3 miles from The Lodge (30 minute walk, 5 minute car ride).

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) - 55 miles to/from resort
Oakland International Airport (OAK) - 56 miles to/from resort

Transportation
Car Rentals, taxis, and rideshare options are available at all the suggested airports. Taxi fees from San Francisco and Oakland are estimated at $220. Taxi fees from Sacramento are estimated at $300.
