The retreat is currently sold out! While we do not anticipate attendee cancellations, we will begin a waitlist. If you would like to be added to the waitlist, please reach out AACEM@saem.org. We will clear the waitlist on a first come, first served basis as cancellations are received.

*CDP and CAEMA tuition includes CDP session two and CAEMA session one ONLY. Participants planning to attend the AACEM/AAAEM Annual Retreat in its entirety are required to register.

For adult guests (18 and over), the price to attend the Opening Reception (Sunday, March 16, 2025; 6:30pm) and the Awards Luncheon (Tuesday, March 18, 2025; 1:00pm) is $50 per event. Please see the registration link to add guests at these events. Children under 18 can attend these events at no cost but should still be noted via the registration.

Cancellation Policy

A $50 fee will be charged for cancellations made prior to January 24, 2025. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made on or after January 24, 2025.

Hotel Information

The Lodge at Sonoma Resort is the official host hotel for the 2025 AACEM/AAAEM Annual Retreat. Located in the heart of California's scenic wine country, this luxury hotel is a revitalizing oasis of serenity within walking distance to quaint shops and world-class restaurants at Sonoma Plaza.

Hotel Reservations

Room availability is limited from March 15 to March 20 at The Lodge at Sonoma Resort. There are several hotel options in the area, including:

Inn at Sonoma - 0.9 miles from The Lodge (20 minute walk, 3 minute car ride).
El Dorado Hotel - 1.3 miles from The Lodge (30 minute walk, 5 minute car ride).
Ledson Hotel - 1.3 miles from The Lodge (25 minute walk, 4 minute car ride).

Administrators, please plan to arrive at the resort before 1:00 p.m. PT on Sunday, March 16, for the AAAEM General Session.

Chairs, please plan to arrive at the resort before 6:30 p.m. PT on Sunday, March 16, for the AACEM/AAAEM Retreat Welcome Reception. Programming ends on Wednesday, March 19, by 11:00 a.m. PT.

Air Travel

The following airports are advisable options when traveling to Sonoma, CA.

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) - 55 miles to/from resort

Oakland International Airport (OAK) - 56 miles to/from resort

Sacramento International Airport (SMF) - 71 mile to/from resort

Transportation

Car Rentals, taxis, and rideshare options are available at all the suggested airports. Taxi fees from San Francisco and Oakland are estimated at $220. Taxi fees from Sacramento are estimated at $300.
