AAAEM Awards

The Academy of Administrators for Academic Emergency Medicine is excited to announce it is now accepting nominations for AAAEM Awards! Nominations will remain open through December 15, 2017. Descriptions of each award can be found below. Members are encouraged to submit a nomination form by the deadline.

 

Significant Contributions to AAAEM Annual Award

Award Description: The AAAEM Annual Academy Award recognizes an academic emergency medicine administrator affiliated with the AAAEM who has demonstrated, within the last three years, a noteworthy achievement to the growth, success or stability of the Academy of Administrators in Academic Emergency Medicine.

 

Significant Contributions to AAAEM Lifetime Award

Award Description: The AAAEM Lifetime Academy Award is the highest recognition the Academy gives to an individual who has displayed a lifetime of achievement and made outstanding, nationally recognized contributions to the Academy of Administrators in Academic Emergency Medicine, over the course of his or her career.

 

Annual Achievement Award in Academic EM Administration

Award Description: The AAAEM Annual Achievement Award recognizes an academic emergency medicine administrator affiliated with the AAAEM who has demonstrated, within the last three years, a noteworthy achievement of exceptional leadership and management proficiency to enhance strategic and operational effectiveness of academic emergency departments, emergency medicine education or emergency medicine research in his or her institution and/or the broader academic emergency medicine community.

 

Lifetime Achievement Award in Academic EM Administration

Award Description: The AAAEM Lifetime Achievement Award in Academic Emergency Medicine Administration is the highest recognition the Academy gives to an individual who has displayed a lifetime of achievement and made outstanding, nationally recognized contributions to academic emergency medicine administration, research and/or education, over the course of his or her career.
